About Me

Hello, and welcome to my corner of academia and personal growth!

As a first-generation American, my story is intertwined with dreams, perseverance, and resilience. My parents journeyed to this land from the Middle East, seeking a brighter future for our family. Their sacrifices and lessons have been the guiding force behind every milestone I've achieved.

Their dream became tangible when I became the first in our family to don the graduation cap, proudly holding a degree from the prestigious University of Texas at Austin. My academic voyage at UT Austin led me to graduate with a major in Biochemistry, supplemented with a minor in Business and a certificate in Spanish.

Before my collegiate days, I honed my academic skills at a competitive all-girls college preparatory in Houston. The challenges, camaraderies, and triumphs during this time prepared me for the rigorous world of higher education. My earlier days were spent at a quaint private school in Sugar Land, TX, which laid the foundation of my academic curiosity.

But beyond the textbooks and labs, I am a fusion of my heritage and American culture. I cherish the rich tapestry of traditions, languages, and values I've grown up with. They've not only shaped my worldview but have also deeply influenced my teaching philosophy. I believe that with the right guidance, any student can bridge the gap between challenges and success, just as I have.

Join me, as together we embark on a journey of academic excellence, built on the foundations of trust, understanding, and relentless perseverance.
